The Camellia oleifera is of high economic value. Its main product, Camellia oil, has reasonable fatty acid composition and a large quantity of bioactive compounds. Camellia shell can used to produce xylitol, furfural and activated carbon. Camellia dregs contain a lot of tea saponin, which has large potentiality in the future washing market. Camellia dregs can be used as feedstuff due to its great amounts of protein and trace elements. Therefore, the Camellia industry has a bright prospect. There are many disadvantages in traditional Camellia oil production process. Aqueous extraction is inefficient, there are a lot of impurities in the crude oil, which leads to the heavy refining workload. The enzyme used in aqueous enzymatic extraction has high sensitivity towards the environment. It requires huge equipment investment. The organic solvents used in organic solvent lixiviation process are dangerous. It is harmful to human health if the organic solvents remain in Camellia oil. The market potential of this method is depression.New process in this article uses 30% ethanol solution to extract Camellia oil. The process is simple, equipment investments are low and the crude oil is of high quality which will reduce the burden of refining process. Also, the loss of original active substance is very low. The results showed that, the extraction liquid can be reused, and the production process is environmentally friendly. Camellia dregs generated in this method are propitious for further processing. This subject designs the line process of Camellia oil by 3000 tons per year. The workshop in the whole plant were arranged reasonably and efficiently according to general requirements of food factories designing. The production capacity of all devices was calculated in this article. The unit type were determined and workshop layout were designed according to the material balance. Lots of tea saponin in Camellia oleifera seed lead to emulsification, which bring serious inconvenience to the production. New process in this article resolved this problem using two-step separation, namely producing crude oil using NBY High Efficiency Plate Hermetic Filter followed by Disc Centrifuge. The critical control points during the process were determined using Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system. Meanwhile, this paper resolved the problem of pollution of waste gases, smoke and noise reasonably. After economic and technical analysis, the feasibility and the capability to withstand risks of this subject were confirmed.
