Silylium ion is a positive ion containing a three-coordinated silicon element, and its structure is similar with carbocation. However, it is distinct from carbocation on chemical properties that silylium ion need the anion which is a weak coordinating base to keep stability. This paper described a method of using weak coordinating base (carborane anion) to synthesize silylium ions and introducted the unexpected final product obtained [H9O4+][HCB11H5Br6-]. substituting carborane anions using silicon groups as well as trying to enhance its solubility and tried to synthesizing silica zwitterionic when the silicon groups are dialkylsilyl. In addition, this paper also studied the synthesis of an important raw material in organic silicon compound of teteakis(trimethylsilyl)silane and made a detailed analysis on factors affecting of the yield.Contents of this study are divided into three parts:1. The decaborane starting material is synthesized through a series of substituted carborane triphenylcarbenium salts [Ph3HCB11H5Br6-] and [Ph3C+][HCB11Me5Br6-], synthetic silylium ions by the carborane triphenylcarbenium salts with a compound containing of silicon hydrogen bond Methods. And the final result obtained carborane acid [H9O4+][HCB11H5Br6-] were analyzed and related to the introduction.2. Pair [Me3NH+][HCB11H5Br6-] a silyl-substitution on carbon-hydrogen bonds, to give a series of silicon-substituted carborane anions [R3SiCB11H5Br6-], and try to synthesis an intramolecular zwitterion silicon on silicon-hydrogen-dialkyl-substituted products.3. Synthesis of tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)silane and analysis the impact of the raw materials feed ratio on the yield and its reaction condition, and find the highest yield of the synthesis method ultimately, thereby synthesizing a lot of work.
