With the rapid development of industry, and massiveproduction of manmade products, the development of materialscouldn’t satisfy the demand. Scientists were looking formaterials that can fulfill this demand, improve the quality,shorten the productive time and decrease the costs. We also getin this trend to offer people more choices. By thecopolymerization of polymer with an organic monomer, weproduced a series of copolymer.Herein, we design and synthesis of a series of copolymerusing poly (4-bromostyrene) and tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)silanevia Yamamoto-type Ullmann reaction. Their structures wereconfirmed by FTIR and XRD. We also investigate their potentialapplication in capture of greenhouse gas such as CO2and storageof clean energy.
