N-heterocyclic carbene study is a broad neighborhood, because of its role of the catalyst in the reaction are known to us, it is self-evident advantages, Strong electrical properties, and easy modification of the structure, and strong bit capability with other characteristics, especially prominent is the N-heterocyclic carbene in the metal catalyst neighborhood plays an irreplaceable role. For chiral N- heterocyclic carbenes,we passed on the choice of the substituents on the carbon atom or nitrogen atom on the carbene ring, to optimize the chiral N-heterocyclic carbene steric, electronic properties, and the chiral the environment. In recent years, our group is committed to the development and research of new carbene, such as copper- heterocyclic carbene metal complexes synthesized α-amino boric acid, and palladium- heterocyclic carbene metal complexes synthesized aryl ketone compound. The synthesis and application of the above N- heterocyclic carbene ligands overlooked one important property-chirality.Chiral N-heterocyclic carbene research is chiral catalysis research focus in recent years, which is used in asymmetric catalysis widely. Benzimidazole chiral N-heterocyclic carbene is a type of carbene family, the paper design and synthesis of novel benzimidazole class of seven cases chiral carbene precursors, while expanding its use in catalytic asymmetric reactionsThe main work includes the following two aspects:First, the synthesis of novel benzimidazole class of chiral carbene precursor: we have designed a series of new benzimidazole chiral carbene precursors. eventually,we synthesized 7 cases novel chiral heterocyclic carbene precursor, wherein the substituents have some representative groups carbene carbon atom on the ring or on the nitrogen atom, these compounds were characterized 1H NMR, 13 C NMR, HR-MS,etc.Second, the new novel benzimidazole class of chiral carbene precursors used in catalytic asymmetric reactionsNew benzimidazole using synthetic chiral carbene precursor and copper metal complexes synthesized boric acid ester compound. All compounds have been characterized 1H NMR, 13 C NMR, HR-MS, HPLC and other spectrum.
