| According to national requirements, Baotou City has comprehensively carried out new Ambient Air Quality Standard (AAQS) since 2014 and added three more monitoring factors including the fine particulate matter, ozone and carbon monoxide to the original standard including the inhalable particle, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. After 2014 and 2015 continue to carry out the comprehensive control of atmospheric pollution, environment and air quality monitoring factor concentration distribution characteristics changed, accurately judge the current situation of air environmental quality is important basis of the next step of work, so it is necessary to implement the new standard since 2014 and in 2015 air quality change situation, the reasons for such changes to conduct analysis. This paper will use this city’s 6 state-controlled environmental automatic monitoring point locations data as the research object to analyze the air quality change situation and its reason in 2014 and 2015 in urban areas of Baotou after implementing the new standards.Through the aforementioned comprehensive analysis, we can see that Baotou City’s atmospheric pollution control measures and the environmental quality improvement have formed a response relationship. However, this city still has a long way to go to completely remove the pollutants. In the future, it should use the inhalable particle and line paniculate matter as next stage’s key point of pollution prevention to break through. Besides, it should increase measures of emergeney response for heavy pollution weather to effectively reduce the input quantity and relieve the heavy pollution. |
