Skim rubber is a byproduct of fresh latex centrifuge at warp speed centrifuge production concentrated natural latex obtained. Skim rubber’s dry rubber content is low, small rubber particle size, and contains protein, inorganic salts, inositol, organic acids, a large number of non-plastic material, therefore, skim rubber variability, resistance to aging is poor. Through various research sources skim rubber difference between the rubber component and performance related factors and skim rubber properties investigated the impact of antioxidant added skim rubber modified. Static mechanical properties, thermal air aging properties, ozone aging properties, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetry (TG/DTG), dynamic mechanical properties (DMA), the metal ion content, processing properties and crosslink density of the skim rubber properties were characterized.The results showed that:Skim Rubber components and structure differences significantly different sources, low levels of gold-linked rubber skim impurities, ash, and other volatiles, high protein content, small metal ions Cu, Mn total content, weight average molecular weight (Mw) and number average molecular weight (Mn) greater, the larger the acetone insoluble content Gimcheon skim rubber, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) wide; skim rubber vulcanization rate Gimcheon fastest, Jinfu skim rubber optimal mechanical properties after aging of ozone, the mechanical properties of the gold-linked skim rubber after hot air aging, thermal stability and anaerobic aging are the best.After the addition of different antioxidants skim rubber performance analysis:static mechanical properties analysis showed that with the addition of antioxidants, tensile strength skim rubber tear strength and enhanced mechanical properties after hot air aging analysis showed that with the antioxidant is added, heat aging oxygen capacity enhancement skim rubber, antioxidant MMB and 4020 was added in an amount of 1 part best protection, antioxidant RD is added in an amount of 1.5 parts at the best protective effect; ozone aging mechanical properties of the analysis showed that with the added antioxidant 4020, skim rubber resistance to ozone aging was markedly increased, with antioxidant RD antioxidant MMB with added resistance, ozone aging ability skim rubber slightly enhanced; SEM analysis showed that the antioxidant in the rubber matrix skim more uniform dispersion of the particles surface is very smooth, only smaller particles uniformly distributed in the rubber matrix can be formed between a continuous phase, the surface section of the stretch no obvious holes with stratification phenomenon; thermal stability analysis showed that with the addition of antioxidants, thermal stability skim rubber to improve the thermal degradation activation energy increases; dynamic mechanical analysis showed that with antioxidant RD added, skim rubber rigidity of the molecular chain, the glass transition temperature; metal ion content analysis showed that the antioxidant was added as antioxidant RD 4020, harmful metal ion content reduced skim rubber; processability analysis show that the strain scanning, with increasing strain, elastic modulus G ’to reduce the loss factor tanδ increase; temperature scans, as the temperature increases, the elastic modulus G’increases after the first decrease, the first increase after a loss factor tanδ decreases; crosslinking density analysis showed that with the addition of antioxidants, skim rubber crosslink density increases, where the crosslinking density of antioxidant 4020 rubber skim maximum impact.
