Cook-off test(Cook-off test) is an important method of thermal safety of energetic materials research can be measured at high temperature reactions of explosives, propellants and booster charge and other energetic materials. Since Cook-off test capable of Energetic Materials component test, test conditions closer to the conditions of use of weapons and ammunition, so use it to study in arms and ammunition Explosives thermal safety, conclusion and get closer to the actual situation of explosives during use thermal safety analysis and evaluation of more practical significance.This paper established Booster cook-off model, using finite element program LS-DYNA3 D nonlinear solver Booster cook-off in the process of heat transfer conditions were simulated. For elemental explosives RDX and mixed explosives JO-9C numerical simulation, focusing on simulation of the charge density, air-area location and size, heating rate, charge size, insulation material response time, in response to temperature and the reaction position impact and get it investigated.Independent design build Booster cook-off testing systems. Wherein the cook-off ammunition column size Φ16 * 64 mm, the heating rate can reach 60 K / min, heating rate control and stability.
