| In the presence of oxalyl chloride, the delight transformation of the P=O bond to P-Cl bond gave the phenyl-substituted 1,3-dienes benzo[b]phosphoniumchloride.Both electronic rich and deffict substitutions can be used in this reaction.And the method can be applied to synthesis thieno[b] phosphonium chloride and benzothieno [b]phosphoniumchloride.The similar reaction with oxalyl bromide provided the similar products in high yield also. |
