With the rapid development of IT, electrical and telecommunications, office machines, hardware industry, metal products processing as an important component of the manufacturing industry has become a booming industry. Based on the concept of green and low carbon economic development, it demands to constantly improve material utilization and metal parts precision, therefore it puts forward new and higher requirements for sheet metal precision cutting processing technology. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign disc shears technology, fine blanking technology,research progress of removal burr, and negative clearance blanking processing principle, according to the disc-cutter slitting process, in order to control the process of cutting material stress state, the slitting process is decomposed into the plastic shearing and oppression separation two stages, this paper proposes a new sheet metal precision slitting method with burr-free, the plastic shearing oppression separation precision slitting technique.According to the metal plasticity forming theory, make the analysis of the material deformation process of the plastic shearing oppression separation, the cutting deformation zone stress state and the state of organization. Using the finite element numerical simulation method, the plastic shearing oppression separation process of precision slitting is simulated with finite element analysis software DEFORM, research the variation regular pattern of stress and strain, organization flow, and compare with the metal plastic forming theory to analyse, result that the two variation trend consistent.Researched on the effect of axial clearance, radial clearance process parameters of the old and new technology to the slitting section quality, optimized the process parameters and determined the range to obtain the higher quality of slitting section in the new process.the microscopic morphology characteristics of the slitting section by the new technique is studied, including double rollover, double shear and fracture of the central section, and the metal local flow condition of the different shear deformation zone, researches the changes and differences of metallographic morphology and microstructure of the five shear deformation zone in the slitting process, and compares the section feature with the traditional disc-cutter slitting technology. Furthermore, entire precision slitting process of the plastic shear oppression separation is studied by the changes of microstructure.Through tracking and collecting a great deal of samples of the production site and the slitting experiments, the cross-section forming mechanism is studied by collecting experimental data and pictures of the plastic shearing oppression separation precision slitting process. The analysis results that it can achieve the elimination of burrs and improve the quality of metal strip purpose.The combination of theoretical analysis and scientific experiments make the analysis of the plastic shearing oppression separation precision slitting technique, which helps to comprehensive grasp the deformation mechanism and crack propagation mechanisms of the plastic shearing oppression separation precision slitting process, and optimize it, energy saving and material saving, improve the quality of cutting piece slitting sections and labor productivity. This study will make it more conducive in the industrial production.
