Many processes in the steel industry production processes will produce a lot of smoke, in order to meet environmental requirements, all production processes are configured dust removal system. The dust removal system, some on the job despite reaching dust concentration and emission targets of organized environmental requirements, but usually the system by increasing the amount of wind to achieve, for the balance of dust removal system piping, each exhaust air volume requirements change point whether the adjustment and fan speed can be achieved when other aspects are not well considered and optimized dedusting system of long-term high-power operation, consuming a lot of power.Iron and steel industry is a high-energy-consuming industries, energy consumption accounted for 16.3% of the country’s total energy consumption. Rising energy prices, energy dependence for tight steel industry is a serious blow. Therefore, the steel industry in the task of protecting the environment, we must seek better energy-saving measures.By analyzing the actual completion of the test set of experiments VAV system to simulate the end of the exhaust system variable condition and three adjustment points when adjusting each exhaust manifold and exhaust volume changes automatically adjust the fan speed electric valve opening operating conditions. By measured data collation, analysis, the exhaust system VAV air volume change during the end of the electric valve opening adjustment, regular amount of wind pressure variations and fan speed control and energy savings can be achieved. In contrast to the situation with only two operating points system operation and run three working points adjusting one observation point on the other point in the system it was found that the three working points significantly impact system operation is less than two working point system operation. Moreover, regardless of whether the fan exhaust system speed, small changes in air flow duct diameter, the smaller the system parameters of other points. The total air volume system is always changing with the wind parameters of each point of the system changes, but small changes in the total pressure, basically in a stable condition. In the simulation the basis VAV fan speed on the condition, compared to manually adjust the valves (fan does not speed) image data, found that the use of fan speed regulation system process actually consumes less electricity. Comparison of total power consumption, the process of manually adjusting the valve consumes 21KW · h of electricity, while the fan speed the process variable conditions consumes 13KW · h of electricity, saving 8KW · h, 38.1% of the energy savings. Also said that automatically adjust the fan speed compared to manually adjust the valves (fan does not speed), electricity consumption growth trend of small, low power consumption of the system, along with the slow growth rate of power consumption of time, to some extent, saving power consumption. Under this proposed saving fan speed stability and resistance, proved superior fan speed.
