Technology Research And Engineering Application Of Falling Film Evaporator In Chlor-alkali Plant

This paper introduces the structure and concentration process of the imported backward-feed double effect falling film evaporator and analyzes its problems when operating and puts forward an improvement plan.1. According to the actual situation of the device, a domestic falling film evaporator is added to this system on the basis of the imported double effect evaporator to improve the environmental protection, increase production capacity and reduce the cost.2. The structural characteristics, technological process, technological requirements and operation condition of the improved evaporator are analyzed and compared with the original imported double effect evaporator.3.The material balance, heat balance and heat transfer area are calculated to verify the rationality, feasibility and superiority of the improved evaporator.According to the theoretical analysis and experimental verification, the parameters and conclusions of the improved triple effect evaporator are calculated to prove that the improved evaporator can bring greater economic benefits. This success makes it possible that the domestic products are used in chlor-alkali industry instead of the imported products, and it’s of great significance to the development of chlor-alkali industry in China.
