| Coumarins, as a class of important heterocyclic compounds, are widespread in many naturally and biologically active compounds. They have been claimed to be used as anti-inflammation, anti-coagulation, anti-tumor, anti-microbial and so on. They also have been widely used in dyes and photochemistry. Some can also be through chemical synthesis method. Many of the coumarins have important economic value. At home and abroad, they are widely used in medical, food, pesticides fluorescence dye, biological probe, new materials and so on. Also, they are a kind of important intermediates and chemical raw materials. In this paper a series of 7-hydroxyl coumarin was synthesized by Pechmann condensation. Then, O-alkylation coumarins were synthesized through the way of Williamson condensation. It optimized the reaction conditions. It used the potassium carbonate as alkaline environment and acetone as solvent under the condition of heating circumfluence 3-22 h. The response to the overall yield was 38.2%~90.1%. A total of 10 coumarin derivatives was synthesized, and tested their antibacterial activities.Based on the coumarin derivatives with a rich variety of biological activity, especially on the antibacterial activity. In this paper the inhibitory effect of coumarin derivatives had been examined. Test results show that 7-allyl group oxygen type coumarin on Rhizoctonia solani and Botrytis cinerea have good antibacterial effect. Through the comparison of structure and antimicrobial activity, we can select effective biological activity of coumarin derivatives. The structures of the target compounds were confirmed by IR, NMR and MS. |
