Sales in Anti‐aging cosmetics market are increasing year by year in rec‐ ent years.With its rapid development,people has more requirement for its saf‐ ety.Natural plant antioxidant enzymes become a trend.Plant antioxidant enzy‐ mes in plant mainly includes:superoxide dismutase,catalase, peroxidase, asco‐ rbic acid peroxidase,etc.Antioxidant protease,as a kind of biological active in‐ gredients used in cosmetics,that can be act directly on cells and have the effe‐ ct of reducing reactive oxygen species,promoting cells antioxidant repair and decreasing the production of melanin and discoloration and so on.The main reearch results and content are as follows:This experiment built 7 carriers of antioxidant proteases in arabidopsis thaliana:AtAPX1,AtAPX4,AtSOD1,AtCAT2,AtGPX1,AtGPX2,AtGPX6.Pur‐ified the protein of APX1,SOD1 and GPX3 successfully.The concentration of APX1 is 3.69 mg/mL wish SOD1 is 2.81 mg/mL and GPX3 is 2.11 mg/mL. The protein gel chromatography experiment test the purity of the three protei‐ ns and the result showed that the purity of APX1 is higher while the other two protein purity is relatively low.With the three proteins mixed into the fundamental cosmetics with some moist ingredients,we composed of four samples of cosmetics.To detect the fu‐ nction of the four samples,we designed three experiments about measure the clearance rate of hydroxyl radical, the content of MDA in some particular co‐ ndition and the peroxide value under two conditions.In the experiments about measure the clearance rate of hydroxyl radical, the clearance rate of the cosmetics sample contains SOD1 protein is 38%±2.576 with the sample contains APX1 protein is 35%±1.972,the sample con‐ tains GPX3 is 28%±2.869 and the reference sample is 21%±2.245.The experiment indicated that the SOD1 and APX1 mixed into the cosmetics sam‐ ples have significant effect and the effect of GPX3 is not obvious.In the experiment of measure the content of MDA,the effect of the samp‐ le mixed SOD1 is obvious and the value in it is 2.24 μmol/g.Followed the SOD1 is the sample mixed APX1 and its value is 3.21 μmol/g.The GPX3 has no obvious effect and its value is 5.56 μmol/g.Contrast to the three samples, the value of blank comparison is 6.23 μmol/g.The experimental data showed that SOD1 and APX1 can be used as functional ingredients mixed into cosme‐ tics and the two proteins have obvious antioxidant effect.The antioxidant effe‐ ct of GPX3 is not obvious.The experiment to measure the peroxide value under ultraviolet irradiat‐ ion and hydrogen peroxide showed the peroxide value of SOD1 and APX1 cosmetics sample is obvious in a certain time and GPX3 effect is not obvious.
