The traditional amino-silicone softening agent has the problems such as poor hydrophilic, bad yellowing performance and poor stability of the emulsion. In order to solve the above problems, a new structure of organic silicone softening finishing agent has been developed in this paper. First D4 and 1,3-Bis(3-glycidoxy propyl)-1,1,3,3-tetrameth- yldisiloxane were used to prepare polysiloxane containing epoxy group, and then, Epoxy-terminated silicone oil and amino-terminated polyether were synthesized an amino-silicone polyether block copolymer with excellent hydrophilicity and show low yellowing performance during the high temperature finishing. Finally above block copolymer was modified by 2,3-epoxy propyl ammonium chloride which was use to improve hydrophilicity.The synthesis process conditions of the above three stages were studied by using single factor analysis method,. Through testing product viscosity, productivity and appearance of epoxy-terminated silicone, the best synthesis process are as follows: D4 and 1,3-Bis(3-glycidoxy propyl)-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane mass ratio is 12.79:1, the catalyst whic is tetramethylammonium hydroxide ammonium quality accounted for 0.8 per thousand of the total mass of reactants, reaction temperature is 110 ℃, reaction time is 4 hours. Through testing the epoxy conversion,appearance of emulsion, emulsion stability of block copolymer of silicone, handle feeling, stiffness,whiteness and wetting time of finished cotton fabrics, the best synthesis process of amino-silicone polyether block copolymer is: n(ED900): n(epoxy-terminated silicone) =1.4:1, reaction temperature is 80 ℃, reaction time is 10 hours, and isopropyl-alcohol quality accounted for 40% of total mass of reactants. The optimum modified conditions for 2,3-epoxy propyl ammonium chloride is: n(2,3-epoxy propyl ammonium chloride): n(ED900) =1.5:1, the modified temperature is 80, and the modified time is chosen to 4 hours. Finally, the silicone oil with high hydrophilic property and low yel owing was obtained.Through the distribution of particle size, the particle size of the self- made elf- made low yellowing and hydrophilic silicone emulsion is found smaller than that o f the amino-silicone 62.1nm, so the former emulsion has strong stability. The absorption peak of-NH2 at 3556cm-1 was almost disappeared, and the peak of N-H at 1652.5cm-1 decreased, so the epoxy group of modifier reaction with the primary amine-group and secondary ammonia in the middle of amino-silicone polyether block copolymer. The hydrophilic modification of three block copolymer silicone oil was successfully realized. Through the analysis of the thermal gravimetric analysis of the self- made silicone,it is found that the organic silicon chain is decomposed when temperature excced 320℃, which reflects its strong thermal stability.The self- made low yellowing and hydrophilic silicone oil were made into emulsion,then the self emulsifying and emulsion appearance were observed. Besides, centrifugal stability, alkali resistance, acid resistance, heat resistance and electrolyte resistance stability of the emulsion were tested. Then the white cotton fabric and polyester fabric were soft finish. According to testing handle feeling, whiteness, hydrophilic property, stiffness, wrinkle recovery angle and breaking strengt of fabrics, the best application conditions on white cotton fabric was determined that dosage of finishing agent was 60g/L, the finishing solution p H is 6, a dip of a rolling, rolling rate of 80%, preliminary drying temperature of 80℃, preliminary drying time was 2 min, baking-temperature of 140℃, baking time of 80 s. the best application conditions on polyester fabric was that emulsion dosage was 50g/L, finishing solution p H is 6, a dip a rolling, rolling over rate 80%, preliminary drying temperature of 80℃, preliminary time of 2 min, baking temperature of 140℃, baking time is 80 s.Compared with the traditional amino-silicone which name is soft8468, white cotton fabric finished by self- made silicone oil was improved of 5.2% whiteness, and the water droplet wetting time was shortened by 14 s, which greatly improved the traditional amino silicone shortcomings of easy yellow. In addition, comparing with the soft8678, homemade silicone soft agent can raise one grade in handle feeling. The handle of polyester fabric finished by homemade silicone can improve half level than the market’s hydrophilic silicone oil soft8689, besides the both have good anti-static electricity effect.. After 30 times of washing, the cotton fabric and polyester fabric finished by homemade silicone oil were better than the market’s hydrophilic silicone in the hydrophilic property and handle feeling.
