Polysiloxane backbone is supple, low surface tension, environmental friendly and more performance. Modified after several generations, the silicone oil applied to the textile industry is amino-modified silicone softener. Amino silicone can impart synthetic fibers, natural fibers and blended fibers lubrication sense, softness, washing fastness and resiliency etc. But the treated fabric has poor hydrophilicity, easy to produce static electricity and yellowing. In order to make the fabric by soft finishing have comprehensive excellent performance, the silicone finishing of polyether amino modified silicone oil is directions for imitation and further research in the future.Due to the chemical structure and physical properties of copolymerization modification organosilicone with the amino group and polyether, modified silicone softener can impart unique softening performance and hydrophilic properties to fabric. There is not a uniform product standards. But the main characteristics of polyether amino modified silicone softener can be reflected from several different properties such as ammonia value, viscosity, reactive and etc. Fabric softness, hydrophilic and antistatic properties, washable, etc. to examine the effect of the silicone softener.Theoretical research guidance of this issue is from domestic and international patents and literature.In the end and the side of hydrogen silicone oil, after amino polyether block copolymerization modification can get amino polyether modified silicone softener with two structures. Fabric finished by optimized process exhibit good softness. Whiteness, hydrophilic and washing fastness performance greatly improved and meet the overall performance of fabric. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:In the preparing, block amino polyether silicone softener with end hydrogen silicone oil, optimizing the conditions of silicon-hydrogen reaction, using infrared spectroscopy and chemical titration method to track the degree of reaction was conducted and adjusting the different molecular size of the terminal hydrogen silicone. After finishing the fabric, It is not only film-forming on the fiber surface, but also good penetration to the fabric. It has a certain bulkiness and a good hydrophilic breathable performanceThe results showed that the silicon-hydrogen reaction temperature is controlled at 120℃, time is 9 to 10 hours, n (end hydrogen silicone oil):n (AGE)= 1:2.3, to obtain the maximum product of the conversion rate. The average molecular weight is selected about 9000. Epoxy and amino molar ratio is 1:1.15. Above mentioned get amino polyether silicone softener with optimum softening effect and the difference between the whiteness is 2.1, good yellowing resistance.The process of optimization of the side-chain hydrogen silicone oil prepared by telomerization. Synthesized a series of different viscosity of side-chain hydrogen silicone oil, that’s to say, a series of the different molecular weight hydrogen silicone oil is synthesized.The temperature of 45℃ and the time about 8 hours, Low hydrogen silicone capping agent mass fraction of 1.69%, the active hydrogen content of 0.4%, the epoxy ring-opening reaction temperature at about 80℃ the reaction time is 7 hours, the mole ratio of allyl polyether to epoxy groups is in 0.8, Under the above reaction condition, branched-chain amino polyether copolymer is get. Affect the performance of the textile finishing:The soft feel of polyester fabric to achieve step four, the difference between whiteness reduced to 1.7,good hydrophilic and water absorption time reached to 2.3 s.Amino has inconsistent performance on the softness and anti-yellowing of the fabric. Polyhydric amine-modified silicone softener has better performance than monoamines modified softener in softness. However, fabric with polyamine treatment, its whiteness difference is big. That’s to say, the yellowing resistance is poorer than monoamines. Considering the comprehensive performance, choose diamine as the primary organic amine reactant.By orthogonal experimental choose best baking process of three different fabrics, cotton, polyester-cotton blend and pure polyester fabric. Soft finishing process for fabric has two main methods of dipping and padding. The best finishing effect for cotton fabric is dipping. Polyester is more commonly used padding.
