Due to the large processing difficulty less teeth number gear, limit its promotion, gear hobbing machining as common processing methods, based Y38 processing less teeth number gear on the study of Y3150E type machining the less teeth number gear.The main contents of this article are:First, By Y3150E hobbing structural analysis to determine the role of each article of the transmission chain and transmission line. According to the generating and the hobbing’s hanging round,and take a reasonable choice for hanging round, feasibility the processing less teeth number gear to verify in theory and and selecting appropriate processing parameters requiredSecond, Through analyzed the structure of Y3150E hobbing machine,determine the role of each article of the transmission chain and transmission line, and record the experimental phenomena and compared during working less gear teeth when Y38, and brief analysis of the the reasons the machine can not be started.introduce the concept of starting torque, according to analyze the actual processing problems,provide a theoretical basis for the improvement and transformation of machine tools.Third, based on the structural characteristics of less teeth number gear, calculated the cutting force when machining less teeth number gear, and simplify the less teeth number gear shaft as the less teeth number gear.
