With the continuous development of the world economy and the accelerating exploitation of energy, global warming is becoming more serious. Coal is the main develop energy for current world, and its main carbon emission form is mine gas emission whose major components are methane. Methane(CH4), the world’s second major greenhouse gas, is right behind carbon dioxide(CO2). The problems of global climate change caused by the emission of CH4 has become one of the important issues facing the current society. China, as a large coal-production country, has an irreplaceable important position on the solving of mine gas emission problems. To solve the problem of mine gas emission and make effective emission-reduction measures, the mine gas emission and its characteristics in our country should be accurately grasped. Based on these, this article, according to the geological and mining conditions of coal seam gas occurrence, mining development, mine ventilation and gas emission, analyzes the influence factors of coal mine gas emission in the development process, illustrates the gas emission characteristics of the Northeast China mining area in the development process, and establishes gas emission prediction model for application validation in accordance with the Northeast China mining area emission characteristics, on the basis of mine observation and indoor experiment. The main research work of this paper is as follow:(1) Systematic analyzing of the main influence factors of the mine gas emissions, selecting the optimal parameters at the same time according to the northeast area the actual production condition, and making a correlation calculation.(2) Making a contrastive analysis of the IPCC and other existing gas emissions calculation methods’ characteristics, and proposing the calculation model for gas emission based on mining impact factor in the coal mine development.(3) Taking further research of the Northeast China mining area gas emission according to a large number of statistical data and the model calculation results obtained, and summarizing its gas emission characteristics and laws.(4) Using the model to calculate the main mine gas emission in the Northeast China mining area and predict the gas emission of laohutai mine and many other mines, and making a contrastive analysis of the data to ensure its accuracy.
