According to the production status in the research area, the paper focus on the contradiction of oilfield development, study the oilfiled linking theory with practice from static to dynamic systematically, explain some comprehensive problems scientifically and reasonably, and put forward practical solutions. The main results achieved are as follows:1. The main tectonic style is west-dipping monocline and nose-like structure is developed locally. The major type of sedimentary subfacies in research area are shallow platform delta, the main sand body in Chang 61 formation is meandering river channel, and underwater distributary channel give priority to sand body from Chang62 to Chang 64 formation, underwater distributary interchannel is another major sand body in Chang 63 and Chang 64 formation, plus few mouth bar sand. Isolated channel is the main type of sand architectural structure in Chang 61 formation which longest sand width is 70 m, and Chang 62 to Chang 64 formation mainly contains superimposed channel and unstabled interbed transition, 435 m is the maximum sand width in those formation. Chang 631 and Chang 622 have thick sand bodies with good connectivity, fine physical property with homogeneous distribution, and the best oiliness.2. The dominant intrinsic fracture in research area is vertical fracture which has great influence on the form of artificial fracture. Oil-wet reservoir in research area have a weak capillar imbibition when waterflooding development. The oil after waterflooding are mainly exist in large throat, fracture and micro-fracture system, which is mesh or fracture type waterflooding front with lower oil displacement efficiency.3. Horizontal fractures built its share of artificial fracture. Connected surface between fracture and strata is horizontal, oil migration is mainly from strata to artificial fractures vertically, then flow into wellbore. The injected water that flow into bedding plane or stylolite from wellbore or artificial fractures cannot diffused effectively, thus the consequence is that it is difficult to inject water into water well and injection is invalid to oil well. The thin reservoir which adjacent to the nearby strata with high shaliness and nondevelopment of intrinsic fracture can also lead to the problem of injection.4. The residual oil saturation in research area less than 66% and generally below the initial oil saturation. Flooded region has a lower oil saturation and heterogeneous residual oil distribution. The waterflooding front is oriented, which point to the direction of maximum principal stress, affected by artificial fractures.
