The rapid development of economy brings increasing environmental accidents from the last century. Many water pollution incidents have been reported:1998 Heilongjiang water suffered biological pollution, chemical pollution of drinking water in Hunan in 1999, in Sichuan in 2004, and chemical pollution occurred in Heilongjiang in 2005, in Guangxi in 2012. Types and sources of pollutants are needed to investigate in the pollution accidents. In order to strengthen the safety of drinking water sources, the Ministry of environmental protection improve administrative legislation and strengthen the succession detection means to strengthen the security of water quality protection. Rapid economic development has also produced the "Zhenjiang phenol pollution", "blue-green algae bloom in Taihu" and other pollution incidents in Jiangsu area, These pollution event first attracted behavior changes of aquatic organisms, such as the death of fish. But once caused the death of fish, found that the pollution accident has lasted for some time.So we can develop the monitoring of water quality toxic to avoid no response phenomenon such as Shanxi aniline pollution " super station", for this resolution can make up the deficiency of conventional water quality monitoring. The monitoring of water quality toxic has important implications for water early warning and decision.The Monitoring technology of water quality toxic uses microbial sensor such as aquatic organisms and microorganisms, The index of water toxicity can be expressed by inhibition rate of microbial sensor after the reaction.In this paper, We develop the method of luminescent bacteria toxicity detection technology to carry out analysis, this technology is international mainstream. The single pollution factor and multi pollution factor dose effect analysis has been studied.In the analysis of single factor, we study the commonly water quality factor, including conventional indicators, indicators of heavy metals and pesticides. The results show obvious inhibition of PH in the scope of PH<5 or PH>11, total phosphorus, total nitrogen,permanganate index, ammonia nitrogen (with glucose mother liquor indicator) had no effect on biological toxicity over a large concentration range, measurement of heavy metals and pesticide show obvious inhibition on luminescent bacteria.Because the water is often more substances coexist, in order to simulate the effects of various substances to inhibit the coexistence, pesticides and heavy metals were mixed as pollution factor, From the test results, the superposition of a variety of pollution factors showed inhibition toxicity to strengthen, we simply rely on the routine detection is not sufficient for early warning of water sources, it is necessary to adopt the biological index to evaluate.In the water early warning detection of biological toxicity, biological toxicity analyzer automatic measures comprehensive toxicity of water in 30 minutes, the detection limit in line with international standards, national standards. The detecting result show biological toxicity analyzer can be used as a supplement to conventional water quality monitoring technology. Referring to American, Germany and other countries standards, we carry out such experiment:precision test, zero drift test and stability test. Experimental results show that this method achieves the international standards requirements; and in the Kuilei Lake drinking water source of Kunshan city carried out continuous monitoring of a year and a half, combined with conventional indicators and reagents, we worked out a biological toxicity prediction limit for early warning of water quality.
