With the development of the multidisciplinary cross theo in recent years, Clothing,as the second skin of human, has gradually become a natural carri for understanding human body. In such circumstance, the author, based on the user-center design, explore the real demands of the infant and their guardian, and try to come up with systematic clothing design for baby sleep monitoring according to the theory of safe clothing.First, through analyzing the research situation of baby sleep monitoring products ai safety clothing at home and abroad, and summarizing the classification and design patterns safety clothing, the author knows the design principles, elements and process of the bal sleep monitoring safety clothing.Second, guided by the user-centered, the author adopted measures of observatio interview and literature research and investigated in Wuxi children’s Hospital and Huangsh; People’s Hospital, focusing on demands of sample infants and their guardians, infant sle< safety loophole and similar products and its related standard, this investigation lay foundation for the design.Then, on the basis of demand investigation and analysis, the author come up with thr series of clothing design in urine wet sensing, temperature and humidity monitoring ai comprehensive sleep monitoring from technology, materials, structure and shape, col pattern. Of which urine wet sensor series include full crotch pants responded to urine and sl sensing diapers, and the temperature and humidity monitoring series is dominant in swe towels. Sleep comprehensive monitoring series contain two kinds of baby jumpers accordii to seasons.Finally, through the function test and evaluation of the baby’s wet induction full crot pants, the author aim to build evaluation system of baby sleep monitoring safety clothii based on five indexes of functionality, safety, comfort, aesthetics and economy. Beside, t author also provides development of similar clothing as references.In the whole design process, proceeding form the baby’s needs, the author allows tl guardian to participate in the design to prefect the design.
