| Different polymeric sponges have been used in transport, medical equipment, food processing, clothing and textiles widely, which are closely related to our lives. But in the storage, transport and use process, the material itself will exude odors to some extent, which may be harm to human health. To determinate the volatile components in polyurethane sponge, the basis for improving the processing technology of polyurethane sponge was provided. In the first part, Simultaneous Distillation Extraction(SDE), headspace-solid phase microextraction(HS-SPME), Soxhlet extraction(SoxE) and ultrasonic extraction(UE) were used and combined with GC-MS for the extraction, separation and determination of Odors in polymeric sponges. In the extraction experiments, single factor experiment is used to determine the initial conditions for the extraction and then further optimize by use of orthogonal experiment. Finally, we compared the four kinds of extraction method to extract the target analyte, SDE method was the best.In the second part,Simultaneous Distillation Extraction(SDE) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometric(GC-MS) method for determining the volatile compounds in polymeric sponge were described in this paper. Qualification was performed by both mass spectral and retention index library searching. Operating conditions for Simultaneous Distillation Extraction and GC-MS were optimized. Totally eighteen volatile compounds were identified from polymeric sponge sample YS-215, fifteen volatile compounds were identified from polymeric sponge sample EL-79 and sixteen volatile compounds were identified from polymeric sponge sample T830. Among these compounds, phenol, Aniline,N-methyl-, Formamide,N-methyl-N-phenyl-, Diphenylamine, Hexanoic acid,2-ethyl-, Phenol,2,4-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-, Benzene,(octyloxy)-, Acridine, [1,1’-Biphenyl]-2-ol,5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-, 13-Docosenamide,(Z)- the important flavor compounds in polymeric sponge. |
