In underground mining activities, the slow and inclined medium thick ore body has been a technical problem, it is reasonable to determine the underground mining plan and stope structure parameters is the premise of safe, efficient and economic production.In this paper, the research on the mining scheme, stope stability and structural parameters optimization of the medium and thick ore bodies in a gentle slope in Hubei province. The following is the main content of this paper:Consulting and collecting a large number of relevant literature, drawing on the experience of the similar mines in the domestic and international, to understand and master the practical experience and theoretical knowledge, and summarized the research methods of the mining technology and the parameters of the medium thick orebody. At the same time, the geological data of mining area is summarized, and the geological features of the mining area and its surrounding areas are fully understood.According to the actual geological mining conditions and the seam condition, tentatively "stratified housing column and subsequent filling mining method" and "lower bands, the upper housing column and subsequent filling mining method" two technically feasible mining method and simple introduces the details of the two mining method mining principle and process, summed up the characteristics of the two mining method, finally carries on the analysis comparison and selection, and ultimately determine the mining method for the lower layer belt, upper room and pillar and subsequent filling mining method.Mining scheme based on selected to determine the strip mining related parameters, using catastrophe theory to stability analysis and optimization of stope structure parameters and get the most reasonable stope structure parameters, the mining strip width for 3.0m~4.0m, reservation band width is 3.5m~4.0m is more appropriate structure parameters, and gives the backfill of the limit load reference value 2.80~2.85MPa; finally, we studied the determination of the relevant parameters of room and pillar method, finally calculate the room and pillar method of stope structure parameters, namely pillar size is 7.0m x 9.0m, width of stope of 8.0m, height is 9.8m pillar spacing of 5.0m.To determine the reasonable mining scheme and the structural parameters of stope is beneficial to the safe, economical and efficient production of mine enterprise, and also provide a reference for the mining of this ore body, which is very practical for the mining of gently inclined medium thick orebody.
