In recent years, facing the increasing serious energy consumption and environmental problems of manufacturing industry and development of global low-carbon situation, as CNC machine tool consumed too much power,whic is the most important tool in manufacturing industry, The research on energy consumption of CNC machine tool is widespread,which becomes one of the hot research topics in the field of green manufacturing. At present, the energy consumption of CNC machine tools mainly focus on energy consumption characteristics, energy model and energy efficiency etc, but research on energy consumption monitoring of CNC machine tools and components is lack. In order to obtain the real-time energy consumption data of machine tool, it is necessary to study energy consumption monitoring of machine tools, which can provide the data support for energy saving decision-making and evaluation energy consumption of machine tool.Therefore, according to CNC machine tools with multiple energy components, and considering different types of power sensors and different energy consumption information needs of different personnel,configurable online energy comsumption monitoring system of multiple energy components of CNC machine tools is studied in this paper.First, configurability of online energy comsumption monitoring system of multiple energy components of CNC machine tools in term of three aspects of configuration including the number of energy consumption components,information needs of energy consumption, sensor types was analysised. On this basis, system framework was proposed. Structure and function module of this system were designed.Then, some key technology of this system was studied, which including configurable design scheme of energy online monitoring system based on UML language, electrical power data acquisition technology of mult-energy components of CNC machine tools, including power data acquisition process of multiple energy components and multiple thread data processing model, energy consumption information analysis method base on the running state of multiple energy components.Finally, on the basis of the above study, configurable online energy comsumption monitoring system of multiple energy components of CNC machine tools in term of the four function modules including system configuration, energy monitoring, energy consumption analysis and the output results was developed by C# language and VS2008 development tools. Energy monitoring experiment was implemented on CNC lathe. According to the actual situation of a CNC machine tool, hardware platform of energy consumption monitoring test composed of different types of power sensor was builded. Configurable online energy consumption monitoring system of multiple energy components of CNC machine tools was debugged. Energy consumption monitoring test showed this system is effective and feasible and its operation is stable,and it can get energy consumption information of CNC machine tools with the multiple energy components.
