Ultrasonic grinding technology is the introduction of ultrasonic vibration in the grinding process to remove the processed material on the workpiece with the effect of ultrasonic vibration.The main advantage is high processing efficiency, but the acoustic system vibration stability is difficult to be guaranteed, and it can’t get extremely low surface roughness efficiently.ELID grinding technology is the use of combination of grinding technology and online grinding wheel dressing to sustained dressing the metal bonded diamond grinding wheel by electrolysis,thus avoid the phenomenon of passivation and clogging of the wheel to achieve the precision grinding of hard and brittle materials and obtain high precision machined surface. However, high processing cost, the grinding wheel is easy to plug and shedding abrasives is easy to scratch the workpiece.Therefore, in order to obtain both efficient and high- precision machined surface, studied the composite process of ultrasound and ELID grinding in this paper. ELID grinding is mainly due to the film and the oxide abrasive grains contained scratch the workpiece, the most important factor which influence the oxide film is the electrical parameters, Therefore the study of the electrical parameter is particularly important.The selected way is internal grinding grinding in the study. Since the grinding wheel diameter relative to the Cylindrical grinding is small, can not achiev grinding and electrolysis simultaneously. Therefore, used the method of electrolytic dressing grinding wheel and then grinding for some time, and then exit the wheel to electrolysis during the test, so repeatedly grinding.In this article, the voltage and current were carried out On-line measurement by Labview in the composite process, studied the effects of electrical parameters on the grinding wheel dressing, the oxide film thickness and the surface quality after processing more accurately.
