| Oil and gas pipelines need to be cleared with pigs before put into use, and at this time the medium of clearing pipeline is the air, and in which the speed of pigs can be up to ten meters per second, or even twenty meters per second. Because of the high speed and the accumulating of the impurity may result in the stopping of pigs, so online positioning and tracking of pigs are of great important for the security of oil and gas pipelines.The emission distance of magnetic signal from common pigs positioning and tracking equipment is a little short, and the receiver could not estimate the distance of the pig, therefore, it could not meet the unmanned require. So, in order to realize the unattended way of positioning and tracking, a way to monitoring the location of high speed pigs was designed. We use alternating magnetic field and pressure method, studied magnetic signal transmission device and the factors that influence the magnetic signal emission distance, designed the basic circuit of tracking terminal, completed the remote communication of data. Through the experimental analysis we found that magnetic signal receiving distance was improved in the process of pigging operation, and this method could accurately determine whether the pig passed a testing point or not; The difference of pressure values inside the pipeline is obvious and it could clearly determine the position of pigs. So, it can be concluded that the combination of magnetic signal and pressure signal are effective and reliable method of electromagnetic location and tracking technology.After the design scheme of the product was put forward, the electromagnetic positioning and tracking device of magnetism and pressure was designed. Firstly, the magnetic tracking signal terminal signal generating circuit was introduced in this article, then software was used to simulate the relations between magnetic signal transmitting distance and the external environment factors, and experimental verification was done. Secondly, the hardware circuit design of pressure positioning and tracking terminal, the basic settings of communication terminal with surveillance center data was introduced, and data communication was completed too. Finally, the feasibility of this positioning and tracking technology was proved by analyzing the field date. |
