Faced with the double threat of energy crisis and environmental pollution, use municipal wastewater culture microalgae become possible to ease the energy crisis while providing new methods in water treatment. Microalgae can take advantage of the municipal wastewater carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and other organic pollutants as their essential nutrients for growth, so as to achieve the purpose of the removal of contaminants from water; also the extraction of microalgae oils from microalgae can be used as biodiesel, which in turn can ease the energy crisis. But in the whole process of microalgae biodiesel harvest microalgae as a key step in them, because of microalgae small diameter, low concentration of algae, the existing methods are difficult to large-scale industrial applications, has become the limiting step of the overall process. This paper hopes to optimize the new process parameter of combining the oil purification machine and electroflocculation, to explore its ability to solve problems in microalgae harvesting methods are difficult industrial applications.Through literature review and summarize the preliminary work to determine the factors affecting the indexes of various parts of the paper. The first part is optimizing the process in harvesting microalgae with oil purification machine; the second part is optimizing the process in harvesting microalgae with the electroflocculation; at the end of the paper, discuss the effect of harvesting and industrialization prospects with using combined process.Electroflocculation combine oil purification machine method is feasible while optimizing the process parameters, and the effect is obvious. recovery rate of the process parameters is 0.7645 g/min, recovery is 84.13%, the concentration factor of up to 337.12 times.The process of electroflocculation combine oil purification machine in harvesting microalgae oil optimum parameters are: electroflocculation parts: an electrode spacing of 1cm, the current density is 0.0300 A/cm2, electrolysis time is 10 min, p H is 5.5; Oil purification machine parts: speed is 28000 r/min, water rate is 57 L/h, algae concentration is 1.2 g/L, p H is 6.0.Electroflocculation combine oil purification machine technology have no impact on harvesting microalgae oil and the composition. Proving the process is feasible. Meanwhile, the cost analysis also is verified that use in large-scale industrial process applications is possible.The water quality has reached the the national first class discharge standard of "municipal wastewater treatment plant pollutant discharge standard"(GB18918-2002) in each part of the process with using electroflocculation combine oil purification machine in harvesting microalgae oil, some parts have reached an A class discharge standard. Proving the process of microalgae biodiesel can ease the energy crisis while providing a new way for wastewater treatment.Analysising electroflocculation anode(aluminum electrode) and the theoretical calculation: the electrodes used in this experiment can be used for 13.27 hours, experiments can be carried out 80 times under optimum conditions electroflocculation.
