Organic sulfur and organic selenium compounds are attracting more and more interests due to their applications in industry, agriculture and biology especially in fields of organic synthesis, pharmaceutics, anti-contamination, antiseptic and anti-tumor, etc. and it becomes the front field that has the development prospect.Based on research of predecessors, A series of compounds of 2-mercapto pyridine-N-oxide, 2-seleno pyridine-N-oxide, containing Se-Se, S-S, Se-S bonds and ebselen analogs were synthesized, and determined crystal structure of fourteen compounds by x-ray diffraction, and detected antimicrobial and antitumor activity from eighteen compounds. The main contributions of the thesis are as follows:1. Four ligands containing heterocyclic nitrogen atoms( 2-mercapto pyridine-N-oxide, 2-mercapto 5-bromopyridine-N-oxide, 2-mercapto 5-chloropyridine-N-oxide and 2-seleno 5-chloropyridine-N-oxide) and eleven complexes were synthesized. Six crystals of heterocyclic thiol and heterocyclic selenol compounds were obtained and have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR and X-ray diffraction analysis. The results show that: In the compounds of [Cu(BrPT)2] and [Ni(ClPT)2], the configuration are trans; [Bi(ClPT)3] is a triangular prism configuration and has a π···π accumulation between five and six membered ring; [Cu2(MSPO)4(H2O)2]+ is a new type of which taking Cu2+ as the top and containing the C4 axis binuclear cryptand ether compound.2. Six compounds which containing Se-Se, S-S and Se-S bonds were synthesized, and all single crystal structures were determined. The results show that: among them, in addition to [DSPA·DMF] only has intermolecular hydrogen bond, other five compounds([DSDA·DMF], [DTDA·DMF], [DSDAM], [SeEPT] and [PSSeA·Trien]) also exist the unconventional C-H···π hydrogen bond. They make the crystals present multidimensional network structure.3. Six compounds which similar to ebselen were synthesized, two compounds crystals of [PEb·HBr] and [SDEb] were obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction. The results show that: there is intermolecular weak interaction between Se···Br in the unit cell of [PEb·HBr]; in the unit cell of [SDEb], it not only has the unconventional C-H···π hydrogen bond, but also has π···π accumulation.4. The antimicrobial and antitumor bioactivity of eighteen compounds which to three species of bacteria and four kinds of tumor cells were detected, respectively. The results show that the bacteriostatic effect of organic selenium compounds are better than organic sulfur compounds, complexes which with Zn(II), Cu(II) and Bi(III) precede other metal ions; when the concentration is 10 μg / mL, inhibition rate of [Cu(ClPSe)2], [Cd(ClPSe)2] and [Bi(ClPSe)3] to four kinds of tumor cells are more than 98 ﹪basically. They can be used as potential antineoplastic drugs to do further study.
