| In recent years, as the rapid development of aviation, industries like aerospace, automobile, marine, instrument, the quantity and type of gear products have both increased sharply, so have the hob type and number of gear manufacturing enterprise, but at present, during the process of tool management study, the study of information management of hob and fixture is relatively weak. Therefore, this paper regards the hobs and fixtures in gear hobbing machine(GHM) as the study object to solve the identification problem in the process of realizing information management of hobs and fixtures.First of all, analyzing the characteristics and requirements of the automatic identification of hobs and fixtures, and based on which, an identification solution based on two-dimensional bar code and Radio Frequency Identification technology(RFID) is raised. This paper describes the identification beside the machine and in the machine of hobs and fixtures of GHM, especially identification in the machine, through explaining the identification process of matching hobs, fixtures and processing tasks. These mentioned above lay the foundation for the online real-time monitoring of GHM’s tools and fixtures.Second, the paper researches the key technologies of realizing the automatic identification of GHM’s tools and fixtures. The key technologies include the identification technologies of GHM’s tools and fixtures based on two-dimensional bar code and RFID; designing the hardware device of identification equipment of GHM’s tools and fixtures, and installing them in the GHM; automatic control technology based on SIEMENS S7-300 PLC, that is the read/write operation between RFID chips and read/write head, the rolling of axis, and controlling servo drive device using FM354; the uploading the information of GHM’s tools and fixtures automatically including downloading information from PLC and uploading information by communication protocol RS232.Finally, based on the process of matching GHM’s tools, fixtures and processing tasks mentioned above, and relative key technologies researched, the system has verified on GHM YS3118 CNC5 and YS3120 CNC6 in a gear manufacturing enterprise and obtained a good effect. |
