Fine Design Of Primary Student Stationary

Stationery is an important tool for students’ learning while also expressing an important part of a campus’ culture. Student stationery often reflects the different ages of students and their learning styles. School supplies can also be a way to represent the history and the cultural context of the students. Since China’s reform and economic development, especially it’s admission into the WTO, the student stationery market has accelerated rapidly along with the development of the country’s manufacturing sector which has resulted in the gradual development of China as the world’s largest supplier and exporter of stationery. Current stationary designs for primary students often fail to promote learning and do not reflect socially and environmentally responsible values.Accordingly, the author researches and explores how to provide standardized design ideas to provide student stationery that will reflect a rich cultural heritage, meet the diverse needs of students, and promote positive social values while using fine design principles.This paper uses investigative research methods to determine the current types of stationery used based on gender, grade and socio-economic status. The strengths and weaknesses of current stationery design are analyzed, and the lessons learned are applied to proposed improvements to fine design of stationery for the primary school market.This paper puts forth the principles of fine stationery design through general guidelines for use of color, texture, form and function in fine stationery design for students.I hope this paper can provide a useful reference for theoretical study and promote further exploration and deeper considerations of fine student stationery design.
