In recent years, with the increasing depletion of mineral resources, rich ores are less, low grade, fine grain size, mineral composition of complex refractory ore proportion is increasing. Manganese is a very important element for growing manganese alloy and manganese metal production of our steel industry, which makes the consumption of manganese ore every year. High-sulfur manganese ore reserves account for a large proportion in our country, but the sulfur is great harm to the steel, in addition to the problem of sulfur and high-sulfur ore resource utilization increasingly prominent. Therefore, the establishment of high-sulfur ore utilization methods, cost-effective desulfurization technology research is an important way to improve the utilization of manganese and promote the sustainable development of the mining area.Based on the high-sulfur manganese ore district of C hongqing as the research object, first, using a variety of analytical tools conducted a preliminary analysis of its basic properties, and then select the wet pretreatment method desulfurization test on it, and a detailed study of the wet pretreatment process parameter conditions of various additives.In the experiment of wet pretreatment, mainly study with the effect of Na OH, V2O5, ADA, NH4VO3 and KCA in the pretreatment process. The results show that:① When adding Na OH, the highest grade of manganese is 26.4% and the lowest sulfur content of 0.092%, sulfur and manganese ratio is 0.0035. It is the best to improve the pretreatment of manganese and decrease the pretreatment of sulfur in the experiments.② When adding V2O5, after adding Na OH and ADA pretreatment, the highest grade of manganese is 27.1% and then the sulfur content of 0.11%, sulfur and manganese ratio is 0.004, the lowest sulfur content of 0.098% and then the manganese content of 26.6%, sulfur and manganese compared to 0.0037. It is the best to improve the pretreatment of manganese and decrease the pretreatment of sulfur in the experiments.③ When adding NH4VO3, after adding Na OH and ADA pretreatment, the highest grade of manganese is 26.7% and then the sulfur content of 0.117%,sulfur and manganese ratio is 0.0044, the lowest sulfur content of 0.101% and then the manganese content of 26.5%, sulfur and manganese compared to 0.0038. When KCA instead ADA, the highest grade of manganese is 23.9% and then the sulfur content of 0.102%,sulfur and manganese ratio is 0.004, the lowest sulfur content of 0.086% and then the manganese content of 23.5%, sulfur and manganese compared to 0.0037. In the experiment, it is similar of the two kinds catalytic oxid izer used to improve the pretreatment of manganese and decrease the pretreatment of sulfur.Using the H2SO4 to leaching the wet pretreated manganese ore, so the manganese ore in the form of Mn SO4 sulfate, experiments show that: leaching solution increased after pretreatment, and pretreatment significant manganese after leaching, leaching solution of manganese content in more than 35%.The manganese sulfate solution leaching of a series of impurity followed by the addition of additives to the preparation of the electrolytic manganese passing fluid. The experiments show that: the electrolytic manganese metal can be deposited on the cathode plate and the effect is obvious.
