| The design of dragon in the jade article of Chu,a state of the pre-Qin period,has achieved a glorious art of jade dragon in Chu, the Dong Zhou dynasty, its behind containing rich cultural background is worth us to mining and utilization deeply. The industry of China fashion design has also entered a new era, and it is tide that taking deeply research and utilization of Chinese native culture. Using jade dragon for the reference of the modern design and making the art of jade dragon for guiding could serve the flourishing industry of China fashion design well.This paper has researched the pattern and the shape and structure of jade dragon systematically and roundly, with a point view of clothology, based analyzing and summarizing the literature of archaeology, using the theory and the way of archaeology, design science, Cloth logy and so on and making jade dragon from excavation of tombs at the pre-Qin period of Chu as reference. It contains four parts, which is introduction main text, conclusion and reference. The introduction has explained the fields, meanings, contents, methods and framework of the paper, and reviewed and evaluated the research status of the thesis at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the paper has also defined important concept of the thesis and explained the innovation point. The paper has divided the jade dragon article of Chu into jade dragon object and jade dragon pendant. The Bi Jue Huang Xi carved the design of dragon belongs to jade dragon object. The pendant designed with model of dragon belongs to jade dragon pendant. The main text has studied in three parts, the first is the development of the shape and pattern of jade dragon of Chu, the second is the relation of the art of jade dragon of Chu and the design of costume, the last is the application of the art of jade dragon of the per-Qin period of Chu in modern costume designing. The paper has adopted the method that combination of collecting documents and field investigation, collected vast document literature related to this thesis from libraries and data bases, and interviewed museums for picture information which is convenient for research. At a later stage of forming section thesis, using abstract thinking with methodization systematization and theorization’s way, reducing the characteristic of jade dragon of the per-Qin period of Chu into four periods with uncomplicated Neolithic Period, unaffected the Xia and Shang dynasties period and the warring states period of odd pattern, following seeking etiquette and folk concept behind the people of Chu esteemed dragon, and the design philosophy and theory which were reflected from the art of jade dragon of Chu, the enlightenment and thinking of the philosophy and theory of modern design, and getting the feasibility of using the per-Qin period of Chu’s jade dragon into modern design. The last, according to the four elements of clothing design which is layout, color, lining and sculpt, we could take case analysis and design practice for jade dragon of Chu in order to study and practice. |
