Hydrogen sulfide is a kind of poisonous and corrosive gas,in the production and life of people, it was inevitable contacted, and brought great distress to the production and life, especially in the chemical production,hydrogen sulphide would not only cause equipment corrosion, but also threatened the life safety of staff, causing huge economic loss to the factory. This paper study on the research of hydrogen sulfide removal experiment, the main work is as follows:To explore effect of cation for absorbing and oxidation H2S, three kinds of iron-based ionic liquids (ILs) were synthesized including l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrachloroferrate ([Bmim]FeCl4), N-butylpyridium tetrachloroferrate ([BPy]FeCl4), and N-methyl-pyrrolidone tetrachloroferrate ([HnmP]FeCl4). The solubility of H2S in ILs was measured at 303.2K-353.2K and pressure from 0.1MPa to 0.5MPa. The solubility of H2S in these three ionic liquids at closed system was in the sequence:[Bmim]FeCl4> [Bpy]FeCl4> [Hnmp]FeCl4. Select the [Bmim]FeCl4 (the best solubility), study the influence of factors such as temperature,pressure,concentration of FeCl4 on H2S solubility in ionic liquids,found the temperature is higher, the pressure is smaller, containing ferric chloride ionic liquid is more obvious advantage than the other. With the increase of FeCl4 content, the H2S solubility in ionic liquids increased significantly.By weighting method to calculate the residual of three kinds of ionic liquid H2S under normal temperature and pressure,found under normal temperature and pressure,three kinds of ionic liquids [Bmim]FeCl4, [BPy]FeCl4 and [Hnmp] FeCl4 can absorb H2S,and the residual can exist stably under a certain pressure and temperature, [Bmim]FeCl4 had the largest amount.Analysis the infrared spectrum of ionic liquids that before and after the reaction and regeneration,in the course of absorption,there is no redox reaction occur,but there is the changes of chemical bonds,presumably it generate hydrogen bonds between a group of ionic liquilds and the regeneration properties of ionic liquids were tested, found the iron-based ionic liquids have a good regeneration properties to absorb hydrogen sulfide. And after regeneration, H2S oxidized to elemental S, the whole process without side reaction.The desulfurization properties of iron based ionic liquids were studied, researched the changes of ionic liquids desulfurization rate under gas temperature from 25 to 70 ℃, and flow rate from 25 to 50ml/min。 The study found that with the increase of temperature, desulfurization rate under different gas flow rate are increased, and the higher the velocity, the desulfurization rate with temperature changes more obvious; When the gas flow rate is 25ml/min, from 60℃ to higher temperature, desulfurization rate was 100%; With the increase of flow rate, the rate of desulfurization is also decline, but the higher the temperature, the influence of flow rate on the removal efficiency is not obvious. Also studied the change of sulfur content through the time unde the temperature was 40 ℃, the gas flow rate was 25ml/min.Finding that before 6 hours ago, sulfur content of export has been relatively stable, remained at between 42mg/ml.And after 6 hours, although the sulfur content of exports is still low, but a marked increase in.
