| Valves are used to isolate the equipment and pipelines,regulate pressure and flow in fluid pipelines as a general product. So its safety is very important. In the petrochemical industry, the valve is an integral part of the process units. Medium used in the petrochemical process most have the characteristics of strong corrosive, inflammable, explosive, so the accidents caused by the valve leakage often occur. In petrochemical enterprises, We main rely on experience, looking and listening to judge the leakage in the value, and then test or replace the suspect value.Not only affect the normal production of the enterprise, but causes a great waste of resources.Based on the background of valve internal leakage,we designed and processed a simulator to repeat the state of valve leakage. We selected America Physical Acoustics CO IS-9102B ACOUSTIC EMISSION SENSOR,VPAV-1278/9203 DATA ACQUISITION CARD and Labview program to online monitor the leakage valve. We set up three sizes of values(DN25,DN50,DN80),and five pressure classes(0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8Mpa(g)). Each group were selected three testing points including valve body,before the valve and after the valve. By analyzing the data,we found the best position of detecting the valve leakage, and acoustic emission relations with pressures and valve sizes. On the basis of the simulation, We applied acoustic emission detection method in the two petrochemical companies respectively. Using the approved technique,we found more than a hundred leakages. |
