Study On Quantified Relationship Between Natural Gas Valve Inner Leakage Flux And Sound Emission Signals Characteristics

Natural gas valve inner leaking will threaten the pipeline’s security.Therefore,having a good knowledge of testing theories about valve inner leakage and solving the monitoring problems timely are important for engineering application.Based on the original results of the laboratory,we found that most of serious valve leaking happened on the types of ball valve and plug valve.Thus,this paper will focuse on the leakage of ball valve and plug valve and is consist of the five parts below:(1)The acoustic emission detection technology is found to be the best method for gas pipeline valve leaking testing through analyzing the advantages and disadvantages on several common valve leaking nondestructive testing methods.(2)A predication model is ensured by the Light Hill’s aeroacoustics equation and noise sound power.(3)In the lab.,a large number of experimental dates about ball valve and plug valve leaking testing were collected and a prediction model was established.The model was verified according to the experiment data.(4)By using the software of FLUENT,the ball value leaking values with the simplified ball valves was simulated.What’s more,the leaking flow affected factors on gas pressure difference between upstream and downstream.(5)Based on valves leaking acoustic emission signals that were gotten from the lab.and filed tests,a database about characteristic parameter was established,which was used to provide regular testing and reasonable fixing advices for gas station.With the help of the database,the pipeline will work more security.
