7050 aluminum alloy has the high tensile strength, compressive strength, shear strength. and the lighter weight, so it is the preferred manufacturing materials for shock absorber sleeve of mountain bike or electric bike/motorcycle, because the traditional cutting will destroy its excellent properties, the research of 7050 aluminum alloy cylinder power drawbacks spinning processing is very important.Based on the domestic and foreign relevant research, the characteristics of drawbacks spinning processing, the classification and properties of aluminum alloys, and some main process parameters of drawbacks spinning processing are analyzed, the elastic-plastic deformation theory of 7050 aluminum alloy drawbacks spinning is discussed, a finite element simulation and analysis model is presented this article for the power drawbacks spinning processing of 7050 aluminum alloy tube. A method of 7050 aluminum alloy drawbacks spinning processing simulation and analysis with ABAQUS software is offered, and some simulations using this method have been done with different parameters of drawbacks spinning process. According to the simulation results, the effects of forming quality and spinning force with different process parameters are analyzed, and the best interval of process parameters are gotten. Then a simulation process of drawbacks spinning with a set of reasonable process parameters is represented, and the variation stress, strain of 7050 aluminum alloy in the process of drawbacks spinning is analyzed.Based on the optimal parameters interval, a spinning process of a mountain bike shock absorber sleeve was designed, and the power drawbacks spinning experiment of 7050 aluminum alloy has done, which has proved the effectiveness of the method with ABAQUS simulation and analysis used in the power drawbacks spinning process design. Then the properties of material which has been spun was analyzed, especially such as grain size, mechanical properties, surface quality, which show that the quality of parts have been significantly improved after power drawbacks spinning. Finally we discussed the solution of the common technical problems in spinning process.
