Whether industrialized production or personal making, plate making method commonly used at present garment industry mainly has two kinds: traditional manual operation and the application of garment CAD, but no matter what kind of method can’t get rid of dependence on the pattern maker experience, the limitation is great. This thesis starts with such a new concept "frame-type", to examine the clothing structure drawing from a new point of view. Taking Auto CAD as the development platform, through the study of women’s shirt style and structure characteristics, to establish the relationship and constraints between women’s shirts each structure feature, and then construct the relationship among parametric component library, component and styles. Using parameterized methods to achieve structure design of women’s shirts, providing methods for automation and intelligent of garment structure design. Specific research results are the following:(1) Putting forward a new concept of pattern automatic generation "frame-type", and taking women’s shirt as an example, designing the entire system framework in detail.(2) This thesis analyses the relationship between women’s shirt style chart and structure diagram, and then as the basis, taking Auto CAD as the development platform,prepares intelligent conversion system of style chart to structure diagram of women’s shirt,realizes direct conversion from women’s shirts style chart to structure diagram.(3) The paper takes a new perspective to expand range of garment pattern automatically generated, as the basis, ongoing research is order to further improve the automatic generation technology of garment patterns, provide a structure design plate making convenient in large and small garment enterprises, provides technical support services platform for non structure design professional groups.
