| Social productivity, as well as scientific and technology level, has seen an unprecedented development after the Industrial Revolution. And the ability of human-controlling nature has also been increased unprecedentedly. Therefore, people start to unrestrictedly exploit natural resources in order to meet their needs. It has damaged environment seriously. As time goes on, ecological and environmental problem of the world today is much more obvious, which has seriously affected social development and people’s production and life. We have to reconsider the relationship between human and nature because of the present harsh situation. Many scholars begin to pay attention to ecological thought of Marx and Engels and want to obtain some theoretical guidance. The ecological thought of Marx and Engels is systematically analyzed and studied in this paper. Thereafter, some instructive theoretical basis of construction of Chinese ecological civilization is expected to be obtained.Although Marx and Engels have studied ecological and environmental problem specifically and systematically, their philosophical thought contains rich and profound ecological thought. When reconsidering these thoughts, we still feel heart-shocked deeply and are full of admiration. Through the deconstruction of classical work of Marx and Engels again, this paper focus on an understanding of ecological thought of Marx and Engels comprehensively and accurately. This study consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly tells the research background, objectives, significance, status, methods and innovation point. The second part clarifies basic research on ecological thought Marx and Engels. It includes the dialectical relationship between human and nature, ecological problems in capitalist society and exploration for its roots. The third part is the preliminary probe of Marx and Engels into ecological problem. It includes the basic method and concrete measures to solve the ecological problem. The fourth part clarifies problem faced on the construction of Chinese ecological civilization and inspiration of ecological thought of Marx and Engels on the construction of Chinese ecological civilization.Through the study of ecological thought of Marx and Engels, the proposition that "human and nature are in harmony, people and people are in harmony" is proposed in the ecological thought of Marx and Engels. It will contribute to our work according to objective laws of nature when the thought is combined with Chinese actual situation. The preliminary exploration of Marx and Engels contributes to solving environmental problems faced in the social development. Ecological thought of Marx and Engels provides philosophical basis for the construction of ecological civilization and a socialist harmonious society and for the establishment and implement of the scientific outlook on development. |
