Reflection On Ecological Value To Three-river Source Area And Its Practical Significance

This paper,through the analysis and introduction of the current situation of ecological deterioration in the Three-River Source Area, explores causes of ecological crisis, reflects on the human misunderstanding to the traditional values, and thus to better understand the significance of scientific ecological value. This paper based on analysis of the situation in Three-River Source Area uses the philosophy and methods Marxist describes the evolution of ecological value development, calls on to construct a scientific ecological value which conforms to the scientific development concept of ecological value theory, and thus hopefully to provide the corresponding theory support for ecological protection and sustainable development in the area. The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction part which mainly introduces the significance of the topic, the research status of the topic at home and abroad, the research methods and innovation of the thesis, and the relevant theory on the ecological value and the ecological value theory.The second part first introduces the basic information of the Three-River Source Area, the important position of the area in our country and even the in the world, and then based on specific cases of ecological deterioration, displays the phenomenon of grassland degradation and desertification, source water volume reduction year by year and more and more serious soil erosion, grassland rat rampant, a sharp contraction of biodiversity, and ecological refugees increasing crisis so as to highlight the worsening situation of ecological environment in the area. Further more, the part by tracing the root of ecological crisis, and human beings’ introspection of the traditional value, from the view of nature, the knowledge, of practice and the view of value, sums up the traditional myth —— the purpose of the human activity is to conquer and transform nature and the nature has no value, is only based on the standard of human beings’ greed and desire. Just because of the myth leading to the present situation of ecological crisis, we must set up the ecological values of harmony between man and nature in order to thoroughly solve the problem of environment and maintain ecological balance.The third part is main part. Firstly, It explore the history of human understanding on ecological value by analyzing the relationship between man and nature and through further disclosing the different stages of awareness on the value and significance of ecology, the paper makes a scientific and accurate fixation of ecological values. Secondly, based on root of viewpoint on ecological values of the area particular in Tibetan Buddhism, the thesis unveils knowledge about the basic content of the ecological ideas in Tibetan Buddhism and the relationship with the traditional concept of ecology, therefore reveals the shortcomings of the Tibetan Buddhist ecological concept.The fourth part discusses the practical significance of ecological value. First of all, the thesis puts forward that to solve fundamentally the present ecological crisis, a scientific concept of ecological value is need to be built up.The second part deals with the relations between the ecological value and the economic development, the ecological value and social progress, and the ecological value and human beings, illustrating the realistic significance of ecological value, and thus gives the suggestions to the development from many aspects of economic development, social progress and human development. Secondly, the section displays achievements made in recent years after the Government have adopted the strategy of the Protection Three-River Source Protected Area and increased the financial support. In the end, it puts forward three- point Proposal son ecological protection and development of the area under the new normal situation.
