Since Yingkou steel implement the low-quality ore sintering technology, it has obtained initial results and clear effects. In order to further explore the sintering production practice of low-quality Ore Sintering on low cost in Yingkou steel, this topic was conducted the research to the field of sintering about sintering flux, the proportion of limonite and the addition of solid waste.Firstly, through the optimization of blending ration between quicklime and limestone, the effects of fluxes proportion on reducing sintering cost and techno-economic indexes were investigated. Secondly, through the sintering production practice of limonite purchased, the effects of reducing sintering cost and techno-economic indexes were investigated. Thirdly, through the sintering production practice of adding different types of solid waste, the effects of reducing sintering cost and techno-economic indexes were investigated. It is found that the finished sinter ore quality was not affected by using different limestone and lime ratio in sintering production. When reducing the proportion of active lime and increasing the proportion of lime store powder, the sinter costs have fallen slightly. When the proportion of limonite increased from 20% to 60%, the costs of sintering ore blending was decreased from 806 yuan/t down to 486 yuan/t, the sinter cost was decreased from 964 yuan/t down to 596 yuan/t, the drum strength and sintering productivity increased slightly, and the technical and economic performance indicators keep stablly. Steelmaking sludge, blast furnace dust, the magnetic steel slag powder and iron scale in solid waste do not change the technical and economic performance indicators and can save energy when they are mixed with sintering.
