Mine ventilation system is an important part of the safety system in mines. In this paper, according to the studies have published and the date of hazard accidents in mines in recent years, and the safety situation in mines, summed factors affecting the stability of mine ventilation system.Based on the system analysis principle and the safety situation of mines, it is build the indexes to evaluate the stability of mine ventilation system from three aspects of the technology, safety and economy. Using the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of evaluation indexes, the fuzzy mathematics to the membership grade, and using the fuzzy comprehensive analysis to evaluate the stability of mine ventilation system, to avoid the evaluation results are error and lack of adaptability by using a single method, can be more accurate and truly reflect the influence of each index for the stability of ventilation system.Based on Visual Basic 6.0 software, it is build the software of multi level comprehensive evaluation of mine ventilation system stability. It is concluded that the stability level of mine ventilation system by applied the evaluation method to a mine in Yunnan; according to the evaluation results, take corresponding measures to improve the level of stability and safety.The examples show that it is possible to use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system of mine ventilation system stability which has established in this paper, and the results of evaluation accord with the actual conditions of the mine, evaluation indexes and methods can be used in practical production. Take measures according to the results of the evaluation to improve ventilation management and condition. At the same time, it is provide technical guidance and theoretical support for metal mines which have similar problems to evaluate the stability of ventilation system.
