With the development of Chinese manufacturing industry, the traditional CNC system can not satisfy the modern industry and the requirement of social development because of their performance limits. The motion control system is increasing demand. Therefore, the embedded NC system which is the high price ratio and good reliability becomes the strong power to promote the development of the numerical control technology.Based on current research studies on flatbed cutting machine functional requirements analysis, design a cost-effective two-axis interpolation, third axis servo, landing fourth axis cutting motion of the tool control system, with emphasis on hardware and software systems design program design and research. In this paper, it designed a four axis and three linkage embedded NC operation system using the scheme which combine the embedded ARM microprocessor and special motion control chip.The core is the microprocessor to send operation command to motion chip to control the realization of complex motion. The CNC system has powerful action control function with fewer components, high integration degree, good reliability and high software portability. It determined the special motion control chip PCL6045B of NPM company in Japan and STM32series microprocessor STM32107as the main processor and the Panasonic Corp of Japan’s A5serees as the servo motor and servo drive by comparing the chips. The special motion control chip PCL6045B has a perfect motion control module to complete a variety of complex motion control function. It can use the API function to realize system motion control functions. Then design the specific circuit of the motion controller which includes power circuit, reset circuit, clock circuit JTAG circuit, data storage circuit, serial communication circuit, motion control chip signal interface circuit and anti interface circuit.On the system software, the use of process-oriented, modular programming, including programming serial port initialization, interrupt routine screen design, data transmission program design, NOR initialization and read programming, motion control functions, and interpolation test output programming. Using new industrial serial touchscreen enhances the operating performance of the system.While the motion control algorithm analysis and research, including the speed control algorithm, acceleration and deceleration algorithms and analysis and research to improve the control performance motion control system. Finally cited examples prove the feasibility of the production system.
