With the rapid development of the domestic clothing, footwear and other light industry in recent years, more and more numerical control cutting plotter are required. At present, most of the domestic numerical control cutting plotter systems exist some problems, such as insufficient precision inproductivity and accuracy, long artificial time, higher material utilization is not enough, though meanwhile overseas applied to the cutting plotter CNC motion control system superior performance, but the price is expensive. So it is necessary for us to develop a cost-effective motion control systems.This paper designs a set of Master-slave mode of six-axis motion control system based on with the function of DSP chip, the system can be apply directly to the six axis CNC cutting plotter, meet the requirements of clothing, footwear and other processing industries painted cut production while the system has a reconfigurable and scalable performance, with secondary development capacity.Adopted with the function of DSP chip (ARM) and FPGA building the Master-slave mode of six-axis motion control system. Aimed at integrated DSP high-speed data processing ability from ARM and the FPGA design flexibility, complete high-performance embedded motion control system design. At the same time, the components of the system hardware modules in detail design.Analyzes the key technology of motion control system design, system adopts the interpolation precision, interpolation operation is simple and easy to control speed of the target tracking method for design of line and arc interpolation, for the curve processing to NURBS curve as the goal, for CAD software discrete curve of continuous micro segment least square approximation fitting, again with NURBS curve interpolation method for interpolation. For speed control with fixed step pulse type forming step pulse frequency, get the class S-shaped acceleration and deceleration control algorithm, simplifying the traditional S-shaped acceleration and deceleration algorithm complex calculations.Based on the software of KEIL MDK and Quartus II development platform, combined with the modular design method and the front desk and the background program is running to design ARM and FPGA each function module in detail, and the corresponding program is designed. Through validation of modular debugging and system debugging as a whole, to realize the motion control system design.
