Green molding technology as the advanced molding technology in21st century has gradually become the mainstream of society, remanufacturing technology as one kind of green manufacturing has got many attentions of the society. Semi-solid processing technology is a relatively new forming technology, it can improve the microstructure, make the organization more uniform, less porosity, segregation, improve its mechanical properties, etc. Applications of electromagnetic stirring technology is one of the most important development of continuous casting technology, the application of electromagnetic stirring technology is to improve the slab quality, is the effective means to expand the varieties of continuous casting.A electromagnetic stirring facility was invented by reconstructing the useless electrical motor, with cooling system,which becomes the electromagnetic crystallizer that can be tissue of aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and composite materials. So it belongs to the remanufacturing technology, and conforms to the development of the society.Ansoft Maxwell2D is a kind of finite element analysis software. RMxprt is the professional design software can very easily to set up the motor model. Use the software to simulation the self-made electromagnetic stirring device, obtained the corresponding magnetic cloud density plot. Convenient qualitative analysis was carried out on the electromagnetic field.The semi-solid A356aluminum alloy slurry was prepared by the self-made electromagnetic crystallizer, and the effects of electromagnetic stirring process on the primary phase in semi-solid A356aluminum alloy were researched. The results indicated that the semi-solid A356aluminum alloy slurry to satisfy the demand of rheocasting could be prepared by the self-made electromagnetic stirrer. Through the experimental research, the suitable preparing parameters.In experiments, through the alpha frequency converter to change the input frequency and time of electromagnetic stirring, and process analysis of the test sample. Through the experimental research, the suitable preparing parameters with energy saving were obtained.
