Abstract/Summary:
This dissertation beginning with explaining the essence of fog and haze, expounds the differences and relationship between fog and haze, and research on the composition and distribution of fog and haze` particles simply at the same time. Then, use of the Gustav Mie`s scattering theory, the thesis has been studied on the fundamental problems of the scattering, such as the coefficients of scattering, absorption and extinction, the scattering intensity distribution with the Scatter-angle concerning spherical particles.The scattering characteristics of multi-particle system of fog and haze have been solved respectively by taking advantage of the external-mixture mode and internal-mixture mode in this paper. For the external-mixture mode multi-particles system of fog and haze, the author considers about the situations of equal proportional mixture and nonproportional mixture, and the circumstances of same components and different components. Then calculating and analyzing the characteristics of scattering and extinction. But for the internal-mixture mode multi-particle system of fog and haze, the author adopts the uniform-mixing structure and double-layer structure to study on the characteristics of scattering concerning the two structures above and provide the method of equivalent medium. At the same time, the author contrasts and analyzes the difference between the uniform-mixing structure and double-layer structure.The thesis has researched on the optical properties of fog and haze particles under different situations in infrared band and visible light band. And it uses the method of equivalent medium to analyze the characteristics of soot particles. Meanwhile the author has been computed and analyzed the transmittance of multi-particle system and optical attenuation characteristics in mist.
