Furfural is a very versatile basic organic chemical raw materials. And indirectly by its synthetic chemical products are widely used in the direct synthesis of plastics, Pharmaceuticals, pesticides and other industries. At the same time it is an excellent organic solvent used to refine advanced lubricants and diesel. With the rapid development of the chemical industry, furfural industry in China has great market prospects.The thesis of the furfural production projects at home and abroad carried out a detailed summary of pollution control measures. According to the characteristics of furfural production processes, analyses the sources of pollutants and pollutant accounts proposed pollution prevention measures of furfural production processes. Studies have shown that major sources of pollution in the production process of furfural for distillation towers, novolac tank, crushed slag workshop, boiler room, shed, main pollutants include distillation, grinding dust, bakelite tube waste water emissions, waste water sludge waste gases, process exhaust gas, aldehydes, furfural residue and filter waste slag slurry, gypsum waste ion-exchange resins, scrap, such as activated carbon. Key pollution prevention measures include:"double-effect evaporation technique" and "reboiler" sewage treatment process to treat wastewater, double-effect evaporation of influent pH value control for optimum conditions at about 7, but achieve reuse of effluent water quality requirements, completely reuse wastewater purification treatment, achieving zero emissions. Exhaust gases and exhaust gases collected after the workshop in Standard Chartered shed lye absorber and active carbon fiber felt of the absorber after treatment discharge and its optimal process operating conditions for:alkaline liquid absorption tower bottom liquid conductivity for 43.33mS/cm, replacement of the active carbon fiber felt for a period of 8 weeks. Main combustion products are water, carbon dioxide and salts, and less impact on the environment. Cannot have two pollution treatment effect.
