Long-term development of China’s economy has maintained rapid pace, the demand for oil and gas resources growing. Oil and gas resources is the lifeblood of China’s modernization, the realization of China’s economic construction and social development of great strategic significance. Accelerate the pace of development of unconventional oil and gas resources in the use of our country, to ensure national energy security has important strategic significance. Development of the oil industry led to the development of petroleum equipment manufacturing industry. The use of modern machinery technology, hydraulic technology, control technology and research and development car rig, because of its transshipment fast, easy installation, operation and flexible features, has been developing rapidly in recent years.Papers in the development, structure, and domestic and foreign car rig derrick column and form the basis of the analysis on the use of three-dimensional engineering software to build a model car rig. On-board the rig derrick column finite element analysis, to understand the stress distribution in the corresponding condition. Derrick column hydraulic system design were analyzed, but also on the stability of the mast uprights were checked for vehicle mounted drill improvement and production to provide a theoretical basis and methods. The new drill column research papers, reasonable equipped with each part. Use the trailer chassis, to avoid the wellsite limit of the space, and coordinates with the top drive device for tripping operation, remove the drill pipe with cylinder type hydraulic clamp. And wind load was carried out on the column type drill situation analysis, and important components for checking. The paper can be used as enterprise development new pillar drill reference later.
