Analysis And Feature Extraction Of Water Cut Signal Of Oil Wells

On the measurement of water cut of crude oil is an important content of production logging, moisture meter is an indispensable tool for oilfield development. So the development of moisture meter in high precision and wide range has inevitable requirement in the work carried out for oilfield. In the oil-water two-phase flow measurement experiment, the accurate measurement of oil and water holdup is the key of the whole experiment. The water cut of crude oil in production logging play a decisive role, therefore, moisture meter play an important role in the development of oilfield. The new moisture meter(coaxial line phase water cut meter) is used in simulated well, it can accurately measure holdup of oil-water two-phase flow.The working principle of coaxial phase water cut meter is mainly introduced in this paper, and use the moisture meter to conduct an experiment of oil-water two-phase flow in simulated wellbore, according to the needs of the point(such as 60 dm3), the water cut of100% to 0% were measured, the measurement software will record the average value of each measurement point signal of water cut, using the signal to make the corresponding calibration chart. In order to get the moisture meter in higher precision and wider range, to lay a solid foundation for the application of the next step, through repeated measurements, the accurate response signal were obtained, so as to judge the performance of the instrument, and then improve and check the experiment instrument.The aim of this paper is based on the measurement principle of the coaxial line annular water detector and the application of the existing software and hardware conditions, to obtain the response signals of the instrument to evaluate the performance of the instrument and check it, then use it in logging site. The process of experiment in simulated well, will encounter the inaccurate measurement, it needs to make reasonable judgment according to the actual situation, to take reasonable measures to make the experiment go smoothly and obtain good application effect.
