Environment is a material resources complex of human survival and development, and the degradation of environment quality will cause adverse effect on the human survival and development, ecological system and property. As the largest developing country of world, China is faced with the problem of economic development. In recent years, many large-scale enterprises-heat-engine plant, cement mill, rubber factory etc.-discharge large amounts of dust and kinds of pollutants.These dust and pollutants lead to the too large concentration of pollutants in air, especially the particles of equivalent diameter less than 10 micron, which impacts the air quality seriously. These fine particles are the main factors affecting the city air quality and visibility, and it’s a great threat on people’s health. In the macro background of people pursuing healthy life, most of companies use dust collectors to limit the discharge of particles. As a result of increasing emission of fine particles emission, cartridge filter and sinter plate filter with more dusty airflow handling and higher efficiency mushroomed.Due to the gas-solid two-phase flow is very complicated in cartridge filter, measurement of gas flow field and particle trajectories and deposition characteristics is also very difficult, so the traditional designers often design the equipment based on experience or the simple model, leading to the fact that their designed filter can’t achieve the expected design, even can’t finish the dust elimination.The point is to discuss the influence of different inlet and outlet position for flow field in filter. Based on proper simplification and assumption on the filter, this paper set up a numerical model suitable for the finite element calculation, and simulate the influence of different inlet and outlet position using analysis software Fluent. By simulation analysis, this paper will find the improvement scheme adapting to filter, which provides the reference for the design of dust fliter in actual production. |
