The Mongolian ancient books that are created centuries before still circulates to this day.It is the great treasure of the wisdom in Mongolian traditional culture.To study this treasure and each piece of content and binding in this huge treasure house plays an enormous role of to complete of the Mongolian history information transfer and book learning.In this paper, through the research of publishing information records about Mongolian ancient books in " Catalogue of ancient mongolian books and a docunments of China ".the author analyze the Cover design, size and binding design, layout design, illustration design and font of the Mongolian ancient books materials in Hohhot area.And trying to show the enlightenment of ancient books to modern books,through analyzing the binding and layout of ancient books.
