Well pattern infilling carried out in Honggang oilfield in southern Saertu Reservoir from 2004 has conformed a new water injection mode, which have made some achievements. Later, some difficulties in identifying layered output and injection and production relation led to such problems as obvious confliction, rapid increase in water containing, shutting down of a large number of wells and output decreasing, which are difficult to restart wells and develop the wells’ potential..Based on the researching result of geologic modeling in 2006, newly drilled 40 wells in later period have been divided and compared so as to get useful data. Small layer data of new wells have been led into the original geologic model. The network of 50×50 meters has been refined into 30×30 meters forming new and sound geologic data including thickness of small layer, porosity, permeability, mud content, oil satuation, water satuation and net-to-gross ratio. The refined geoligic model meets the conditions of numerical simulation. The prediction of remaining oil distribution and auantificaion description of Eclipse data model have been explained.Data model shows the researching and the exploring main location of remaining oil in small layers and analyzes that the main controlling factor of remaining oil distribution is the strong anisotropy. Data model testified the reliability of research result and made great achievements in carrying out develop potential in remaining oil reservior.
